Tamrind Rice

Prep

  • Rice

  • Green Chilles => 2 => Chopped

  • Peanuts => 1/4 Cup => Dry Roast

Process

  • Oil

  • Red chilles (Whole) => Let it fry

  • Mustard seeds => Let them splutter

  • Fenugreek Seeds, Chana dal, Peanuts => Cook them properly, medium flame

  • Curry leaves, green chilles, hing => mix well

  • Turmeric powder

  • Tamrind Juice => 1 cup

  • Red chilli, coriander, cumin

  • Cook for 10-12 mins => till oil oozes out

  • Add salt

  • Check the seasonings
